Green falling film evaporator is suitable for heat-sensitive products with relatively low viscosity; the falling film evaporator stays in the tube for a short time, and usually evaporates under vacuum conditions to lower the boiling point to protect heat-sensitive materials. The short residence time minimizes heat exposure, and operation under vacuum allows lower temperature evaporation, ideal for heat sensitive liquids. High evaporative loads can also be easily accommodated; where necessary, liquid recovery can be implemented in order to adequately wet the full length of the tube wall surface.
