Pure platinum wire mesh is silvery white, with excellent ductility, thermal and electrical conductivity. It features high melting point, oxidation resistance and stable chemical properties, meeting GB/T5799-98 standards. It also boasts high thermoelectric potential, good linear relationship between thermocouple alloy temperature and thermoelectric potential, high stability, uniformity and oxidation resistance.
It performs well in flame color reaction without impurity interference. In the experiment of ammonia catalytic oxidation for nitric acid production, red-hot platinum wire mesh enables the reaction of ammonia-air mixture to generate reddish-brown nitrogen dioxide, while remaining red-hot itself. |
