Drag Block tubing anchor catcher
The Tubing Catcher is a retrievable double grip tubing anchor designed to anchor the tubing string in tension or in compression.
Anchor the tubing string in tension or compression in wells of any depth. This prevents movement of the tubing string during pumping operation, thus increasing pump efficiency and decreasing rod wear. This Anchor Catcher may also be used for progressive cavity pumps to prevent rotation or, tubing strings from dropping due to tubing failure
Running & Setting of Tubing Catcher
1.Install the Catcher in the tubing string, above or below the pump. Rotate the tubing to the left to set the anchor catcher
2.Lower the tubing to release tension and rotate to the right while working the tubing up and down slightly.
