1. Linear guide block type

There are two types of linear guideway blocks: flanged and square. The flanged version has a lower assembly height and a wider mounting surface for heavy moment load applications.

2. Linear guide rail accuracy grade

The precision of ou HG series linear guides is divided into three grades: common (C), advanced (H) and precision (P). Please refer to the accuracy selection class of the application equipment.

3. Pretightening force of linear guide block

Preload can be applied to each rail. Use oversized balls. Typically, linear motion guides have negative clearance between the grooves and balls to increase stiffness and maintain high precision. The graph shows that multiplying the load by the preload doubles the stiffness and halves the deflection. For models below HG20, it is recommended that the preload is not greater than ZA, so as not to affect the life of the guide rail due to excessive preload.
