The shot blaster is also called the shot blast turbine, the shot blast impeller or the shot blast wheel. It is the key component of the shot blasting machine.

The motor drives the shot blaster to rotate, and uses centrifugal force to throw steel shot, steel sand or steel wire onto the metal surface to complete shot blasting. Belt drive and direct drive can be used.

The blasting turbine consists of a disc, impeller, control cage and blasting blades. Jet blades can be straight, curved or trapezoidal.
