technical features

idling
1. Fully depress the retaining pawl and pull the grip ring towards you.
2. The chain can be manually adjusted up and down.
3. Terminate idling: Put the shift lever in the down position (see figure below). Then, depressing the dog as far as it will go, gently push the clamp ring so that the dog engages the outer edge of the stop plate. Next, grab the grip ring and handle with one hand, and push them in while turning them counterclockwise. The pawl returns to its original position.
