Medium/High Voltage APFC Capacitor Banks

MV/HV APFCs are used wherever electric motors are still running directly without power electronics, or other consumers with low inductance cosφ stressing the grid with reactive power in addition to real power requirements. The local supply of this reactive power through the compensation system relieves the load on the supply network and reduces losses.

Medium Voltage Automatic Self Regulating Capacitor Banks are designed to improve power factor and improve power quality, using capacitors to offset the usual inductive loads (motors). APFC systems increase power efficiency and provide immediate savings in electricity costs.
ZD-GWJ series medium-voltage automatic self-adjusting capacitor bank can detect the reactive power required by the system in real time, compare it with the set value, and perform automatic intelligent switching, so that the reactive power of the system can reach a dynamic balance, so as to improve the system power factor and stabilize the system voltage.
