production process
Cement production uses limestone and clay as the main raw materials, which are crushed, proportioned, and ground into raw materials by ball mills, and then sent to the cement rotary kiln for calcining clinker. The clinker is added with an appropriate amount of gypsum, mixed with some mixed materials or additives, and ground by a cement mill. into cement, and then shipped out of the factory by packing machine or bulk machine. Cement production equipment usually adopts dry process cement production process. The main advantage of dry production is low heat consumption.
Flow Description
(1) Limestone and sandstone crushing
Limestone and sandstone are crushed by their respective crushers; they are discharged through belt conveyors. Two crushers are located in the plant area.
(2) Limestone pre-homogenization treatment
The crushed limestone is stacked in the pre-homogenization hall.
The pre-homogenized limestone is recovered by the reclaimer and transported to the feed bin of the raw material mill through the belt conveyor.
(3) Storage and transportation of sandstone
After crushing, the sand is stored in the sand storage bin. It is extracted from the storage silo by the belt extractor, and transported to the feed silo of the raw meal plant by the belt conveyor.
(4) Clay storage and transportation
The clay is transported by truck from the clay quarry to the clay storage room during the dry season and then stacked by bulldozers or loaders. From the storage hall, the clay is retrieved by the loader and sent into the hopper, and conveyed to the raw material grinding bin by the belt conveyor.
Clay bins are fitted with a movable bottom to prevent material from hanging and/or bridging to the weighfeeder when discharging.
(5) Raw meal grinding and transportation
Raw materials are taken out from their respective feed bins by belt-type weighing feeders (apron-type for clay), and conveyed to the raw mill system by belt conveyors. The raw meal mill is a closed-circuit air-swept ball mill.
Raw meal products are transported to the mixing silo by pneumatic slides and bucket elevators.
The hot air from the preheater is used as the heat source for the drying of the raw meal mill. There is also a spare oil furnace, which is used to supplement hot air when the kiln is shut down or the hot air of the preheater is insufficient.
(6) The raw material is homogenized and sent to the preheater
In the mixing silo, the raw meal is homogenized to achieve the desired level of product consistency. The homogenized raw meal is fed into the preheater through the kiln feeding system consisting of a batching bin, a flow valve, a weight meter, an air slide, and a bucket elevator.
