Test result reference

When the detector displays a non-magnetic metal symbol, it means that the object under test is generally a wire or a copper pipe.

When the detector displays a magnetic metal symbol, it means that the object under test is generally a steel bar.

When the detector does not display a magnetic or non-magnetic metal symbol, it indicates that the measured object is generally an alloy.

When the AC symbol on the instrument flashes, it means there is an AC signal nearby.

calibration

If the monitor has a signal and no metal interference, then calibration is required. The calibration method is to place the instrument in an environment without metal interference and strong magnetic field interference (such as lifting the instrument into the air by hand, etc.). , and restart the instrument.

Ferrous Metal Detection

When detecting metal objects, press the metal detection button to enter the metal detection state. The metal detection pattern will appear on the screen and the green light will be on.

Place the detector on the detector surface and move the instrument left and right in the same direction. When testing, the moving speed is 1 second ≤ 6 minutes. The larger the percentage, the stronger the signal.

When the program determines the maximum signal received by the instrument, the metallic object is located directly below the center of the detector. The center icon will appear on the display.

When metal is detected, the detector's yellow or red indicator light will light up, and the instrument will emit a continuous sound.
When metal and AC signal are detected at the same time, the red light of the detector flashes and the instrument beeps.

Non-magnetic metal detection

When the measured object is a standard steel rod with a diameter of 18mm or a copper pipe with a diameter of 18mm, the accuracy of the depth value is the best; otherwise, the depth value can only be used as a rough reference value.
