Super metal heat pipe solar collector

The operation of solar thermal collectors is very simple.

  1. Solar Absorption: Solar radiation is absorbed by the vacuum tube and converted into heat.
  2. Solar heat transfer: Heat pipes conduct heat from inside the solar tubes to the headers.
  3. Solar Storage: Water is circulated through headers by intermittent pumps. Each time the water circulates through the header, the temperature increases by 5-10oC / 9-18oF. Throughout the day, the water in the storage tank is gradually heated.
