CKG3 AC high pressure vacuum contactor is widely used in metallurgy, mining, petrochemical, water conservancy, building materials and other industries, and is an ideal replacement product. The vacuum contactor is mainly composed of a vacuum interrupter and an operating mechanism. The vacuum interrupter has two functions of reliable arc extinguishing when passing the normal working current and frequent cutting off of the working current. But can not cut off overload current and short circuit current. The operating mechanism consists of a holding coil with an iron core and an armature. When the coil is energized, the armature is pulled in and the contactor is closed; when the coil is de-energized, the contactor is disconnected. There are two types of holding coils: DC and AC.

The vacuum contactor has strong arc extinguishing ability, good pressure resistance, high working frequency, long life, no arc spraying, small size, light weight and long maintenance period. The vacuum interrupter of the vacuum contactor has very high technical requirements. If the process is not good, the vacuum degree of the arc extinguishing chamber is easy to drop. The contact material is not good, and the phenomenon of "cut off overvoltage" occurs when the current is cut off. That is, when the current is disconnected, due to the strong arc extinguishing ability of the vacuum interrupter, the arc current is not cut off naturally when it crosses zero, but suddenly drops from a certain current value to zero, resulting in high overvoltage. The cut-off voltage can endanger the safe operation of electrical equipment.
