Product Overview

The VOC Exhaust Centrifugal Fan is designed for the extraction, transportation and exhaust of volatile organic compound (VOC) contaminated air in industrial ventilation and VOC treatment systems.

It provides stable airflow and the static pressure required to move VOC-laden air through collection hoods, process ducts, adsorption units, activated carbon systems, thermal oxidizers, catalytic oxidation equipment, condensers and other air pollution control systems.

EMS supplies customized VOC exhaust centrifugal fans for chemical plants, coating lines, printing facilities, pharmaceutical production, electronics manufacturing, solvent handling, painting operations and other industrial processes where VOC emissions require controlled extraction and treatment.

Material selection should be based on the actual gas composition rather than VOC concentration alone.

4. Explosion-Risk Considerations

Some VOCs are flammable or combustible. For these applications, the complete fan system must be evaluated for hazardous-area requirements, including motor, electrical components, grounding, spark-resistant construction and control equipment.

An ordinary fan with an explosion-proof motor should not automatically be considered a complete explosion-proof fan system.
