Proctor Dies and Tampers

British Standard 1377:4, 1924:2; NF P 94-093 (alternative); as 1289.5.1.1 and 5.1.2

Dies and rammers are used to determine the relationship between moisture content and density of compacted soils. Made of galvanized steel including collar, mold body and base plate. Tampers are used to compact soil samples in Proctor molds and are made of plated steel. Different models are available in compliance with the relevant standards.

According to NF P 94-093, proctor dies and tampers containing "...NF" can be used as a substitute for dies and tampers containing "...E", which also comply with EN 13286-2.
