2205 defogging pad, diameter 1800mm.
The 2205 Mist Eliminator is an assembly of Wallace 2205 knitted wire mesh supported and held down by a high open area 2205 mesh. It can be made in any size and shape and can be installed in all new and existing craft vessels. The 2205 wire used in DEMISTER manufacturing is of the highest quality. It's smooth, clean, bright, and drains fluids quickly. Duplex stainless steel 2205 and special alloys are fully annealed to provide maximum corrosion resistance. Ensures a perfect fit even in non-circular containers, eliminating all steam bypasses. DEMISTER units can be designed to fit the smallest laboratories, the largest refineries or petrochemical towers.

This is just one of my sketches. I learned this to better understand the structure and parts of a wire mesh demister. This way I can easily talk to clients and keep their requirements in mind.

In addition, if you can provide the operating data of your equipment, we can do some simple calculations for your reference, such as operating pressure drop, theoretical defogging efficiency, etc.

manufacturing process
First of all, we prepare 2205 knitted mesh according to the requirements of material, wire diameter, mesh density, etc., which is used to make the mesh pad of the demister. At Hualai, we have our own knitted mesh workshop with dozens of different machines. In addition to supplying our demister department with tons of various knitted mesh fabrics each month, the shop can also fulfill external orders.
Second, we welded the 2205 mist eliminator grid. They can be made in any shape or size depending on the order and production schedule. Usually large mist eliminators are divided into appropriate subsections for installation through tower manholes. In most cases, meshes are built using the same materials as meshes. But they can also vary by order design.
Third, our workers make 2205 mesh pads with multiple layers of crimped knitted wire mesh and connect it with meshes on the upper and lower sides. A demister is now complete. As an inspection process, the entire demister will be pre-bonded prior to packaging.
Finally, the qualified 2205 mist eliminator segments are packed into wooden boxes, ready to be shipped. Other packaging methods can also be negotiated, such as FCL container pallets, small demister cartons. OEM service is also available and welcome.
