Applications

1、It is used to isolate the power supply and disconnect the high-voltage maintenance equipment from the energized equipment so that there is a clearly visible disconnection point between them.
2、The disconnecting switch cooperates with the circuit breaker to carry out reversing operation according to the need of system operation mode, in order to change the system operation wiring mode.
3、It is used to connect or disconnect small current circuits. The disconnecting switch can carry out the following operations: pulling and closing the bypass current of the closed circuit switch; pulling and closing the grounding wire of the neutral point of the transformer, but when the neutral point is connected with an arc-absorbing coil, it can be operated only when there is no fault in the system; pulling and closing the voltage transformer and the arrester; pulling and closing the capacitance currents of the busbar and the equipment directly connected to the busbar; pulling and closing the unloaded lines with capacitance currents of no more than 5 amps; triple disconnecting switches. can pull and close loads with voltages of 10 kV or less and currents of 15 A or less, and so on.
When operating the disconnecting switch, it should be noted that when the line is energized, the disconnecting switch on the bus side should be closed first, then the disconnecting switch on the line side should be closed, and then the circuit breaker should be closed. When the line is de-energized, the circuit breaker should be disconnected first, and then the disconnecting switch should be pulled. The high voltage disconnecting switch should not be pulled or closed with load.
