ED Axial Flux Stator

Product Description

Regarding axial flux motor stators:

Axial flux motor is also called disc motor, it is a light weight, strong compatibility, high efficiency design motor, widely used in electric vehicles, environmentally friendly vehicles, refrigerated electric powder generators, computer disks, etc. It is also used in some special applications. At present, due to its advantages of compact size and high powder density, it is widely used in more and more fields to replace traditional motors;

The laminations of an axial flux motor are different from conventional stator laminations. Ordinary stator stamping machines cannot produce axial flux stators, and their stators require customized machines for stamping and lamination. JYSTATOR develops and manufactures customized axial flux stamping and rolling machines on site and owns all rights;

JYSTATOR has 6 customized axial flux stator stamping machines, which can produce more than 200 stators per day to meet customer needs, and can easily increase production capacity by producing more machines

A typical process for producing a stator using self-adhesive silicon steel:

1. Cut the silicon steel strip according to the designed width

2. The punching die should be designed to punch the coil shape;

3. Stamp the coils into the desired shape using a custom axial flux stator machine as shown in the video above

4. Spot weld on the start strip and end strip to fix it

5. The stator size is corrected, and all slots are aligned with the laminations of the two plates;

6. Bonding or laser welding on the surface of the stator back plate;

7. Create mounting screw holes (if necessary)

8. Surface grinding (if necessary) for good flatness

There are also some different methods and processes to produce axial flux motor stators, if you are interested and want to know more, please contact us paul#jystator.com (@=#)
