a. Classification: Generally divided into 5 grades (below 18mm, 19mm, 21mm, 23mm, and above 24mm)b. Cooking:Steaming time: 1.5 pressure steaming for about 25-28 minutes, normal pressure steaming for about 35 minutes Temperature: 90-100 degrees after steaming and drying: dry in a ventilated and dry place, do not expose to the sun for a long time in the rainy season, more than 24-36 hours, other time more than 12 hoursc. Shelling:Raw material finished product rate: Normal cashew kernel yield 23%-30% Shelling rate: 85%-97% (The shelling rate of each specification is different, and it is also related to the quality of raw materials.)d. Putamen separation:Small output vibratory separator with large output (more than 5 tons per day) is equipped with multiple separators and centrifuges. Usually, the large capacity shelling unit includes the shell and kernel separation part.e. Drying:Drying temperature & time: steam heating and drying temperature is about 70-80° according to the moisture content of the nuts, electric heating drying temperature is 65-70°, and the moisture content after drying for 10-12 hours is about 5%-7%F. Peeling:The moisture content of the peeled skin is about 7%, and it is not easy to break when peeled. Humidification: about 10-12 hours (humidification room built in the factory).g. Nut Grading:Kernel yield: 85%-95% (based on the quality of cashew nuts)
