Features/Applications
EC provides an economical method of sealing the ends of power cables with a complete watertight seal. The inner surface of the end cap has a layer of spiral-applied hot-melt adhesive that retains its flexibility after recovery. EC is recommended for open air and underground distribution cables with PVC, lead or XLPE sheaths.
