Product Description

HPC - High Precision Circular Air Bearings for precision motion system applications. Their versatility can solve even the most complex problems. Mager air bearings overcome the limitations of plain and rolling bearings thanks to air bearing technology.
A thin, hard layer of air spreads over the air bearing functional surface through nozzles and microgrooves and is forced between the two surfaces. The slightest air gap layer created between them is only a few thousandths of a millimeter thick and acts as a lubricant with a very low coefficient of friction. Mager flat air bearings can reach high speeds and accelerations with the highest precision and highest speed due to the elimination of oil-based lubrication limitations
Operational efficiency.

Mager air bearings are available in two series, flat rectangular and round, they are all made of aluminum and hard anodized with adjustable screw pins, lock ring nuts and anti-rotation pins (P-kit accessories ).
The air gap between the air bearing and the main face can be accommodated by means of adjustable screw pins, and the locking ring nut fixes its position and avoids dangerous movements.
