brief introduction

  Manifold vacuum filtration is primarily used in microbiological and analytical procedures, including the collection of particulates (bacteria, sediment, etc.) from liquid suspensions. The liquid poured into the funnel passes through a filter, which retains the particles, and the filtrate can be collected directly or through a vacuum manifold into a filter bottle. Applying a vacuum reduces processing time compared to gravity flow. Vacuum filter holders and manifolds are specially designed and produced for filtering multiple samples simultaneously. Since each filter holder has individual control valves, only one vacuum pump is required to support single or multiple manifold filters operating together.
